All the coaches from this year’s series will return in 2018…if the producers will have them back.
According to The Radio Times, coaches will.i.am, Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson, and Gavin Rossdale would all love to return for the next series. This year, the show moved to ITV for the first time and saw Jones return after a series away.
As long as will does it, I’ll do it,” Jones said of returning to the show next year. “We’re big friends.”
Meanwhile, Hudson – whose act Mo was crowned winner of the show on Sunday, said she down to return to the spinning red chair next year.
“I would love to. It’s so fun to me,” she said. “I feel like it’s almost like a hobby,” she said. “I love it that much it doesn’t feel like work.”
Will.i.am, the only coach to do all the series so far, also echoed the other coaches by saying he wants to come back next year as well.
While Gavin Rossdale wants to return next year, it seems the producers are iffy on his place on the panel next year. It has been reported that show bosses have considered replacing the Bush frontman after he failed to have any acts in the final.
As for host Emma Willis? She definitely wants to return if she’s wanted back.
“It’s very much something I love now,” she said. “I’ve been on it for a few years so I don’t want to leave it, but it’s not my call.”
