X Factor singer Grace Davies was once quizzed by the police over a fight which she instigated in school it’s been revealed.
The 20 year old was 17 when police were called to her school after she attacked a fellow student over an iPad.
‘She really is sorry for what happened. It was one of those teenage fall-outs that just got out of hand,’ a source told Metro.co.uk.
However, the source also revealed that Grace has now admitted that although there is no excuse for her actions, she had attempted to find ‘sense and clarity’, and has even written a song about it.
‘It was a stressful time ahead of exams – but that’s no excuse. Grace has thought a lot about it since – and even written a song about it to try and find some sense and clarity of why it happened.
The two of them were very strong willed and often got into arguments – things went too far one day and it’s something Grace regrets.’
A police spokesman confirmed they were called to the assault in March in 2015.
‘We were called to an assault at St Mary’s College, Blackburn on 19-3-15, in which an 18-year-old male student said he had been attacked by an 18-year-old female student,’ the police said.
‘No-one was charged in respect of the complaint and a community resolution was agreed between the parties.’
Grace has become an early favourite in this year’s series of The X Factor.
The X Factor continues on weekends on ITV.
