X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is being tipped to join Strictly Come Dancing.
The winner of the ITV singing show in 2008 is set to take part in the dancing competition.
Alexandra released a Number 1 album in 2009 but her follow up three years later only just entered the Top 20.
Since then, she’s been seen in shows on the West End including The Bodyguard and Sister Act on tour.
The Sister Act tour closes at the start of September, just in time to begin training for Strictly.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Alex loves theatre, but she wants to relaunch her TV career. This seems the perfect way for her to do it.
“She has heard a lot about how great the experience is and can’t wait to get started. She is already working hard on her fitness.”
Other famous faces linked to the show include Dame Joan Collins, Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom Parker and Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock.
Also rumoured is footballer Frank Lampard and Olympian Jessica Ennis-Hill, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, Robot Wars host Angela Scanlon, Bros singer Matt Goss, comic Joel Dommett and marathon runner Paula Radcliffe.
Strictly Come Dancing will be back on BBC One later this year.
