X Factor 2016 winner Matt Terry, and contestant Freddy Parker’s house share is apparently over!
The boys are reportedly parting ways after moving in together just 17 days ago.
The pair were house hunting in London before Christmas and were spotted moving into a new lads pad following last month’s X Factor final.
A source told The Sun: “The boys get on so well and were both planning on moving into London anyway so decided to move in together.
“Matt’s not shy about telling people. He’s moving in with his best mate so he doesn’t see it as a big deal.”
“So me and the little bro @FreddyParker98 just found an awesome apartment 👌🏼 Bring on the man caveeeeeeee” Matt tweeted at the time.
However, in a new turn of events, Matt has called time on the flat share, just days in.
“Yeah we’ve moved in but I think he might be moving again at some point,” Matt revealed this week.
“We haven’t had a house-warming… he’s a bit far away, but at the moment we are all so busy that I don’t get to see anyone.”
Following his big win, Matt had to speak out about his relationship with Freddy, after many online pieces speculated they were in a secret gay relationship.
Matt spoke out after the final to say the pair were just friends despite fans willing them together.
“I don’t know what this is about,” Matt told The Sun newspaper. “Freddy is my little brother, we hit it off straight away.
“Since day one, we are just bros man. We have such a bromance going – no relationship I’m afraid guys, I’m sorry to say. Sorry man.”
And Matt quipped: “I don’t think we kissed but he would have been lucky if I did.”
Speaking to The Daily Star, Matt also added that he’s looking forward to getting into the recording studio. “I start writing next week so I’m really excited,” he said.
The X Factor returns to ITV in Autumn 2017.
