X Factor winners Rak-Su are helping “uncle” Wyclef Jean relaunch his comeback with another collaboration in the new year.
They’re hoping to grab a number one hit with the new single.
Band member Ashley revealed: “Wyclef is someone you grew up watching on The Box and MTV Base, it’s just crazy, when you listen to any sort of R&B hip hop you know it’s part of the Fugees.”
Jamaal Shurland added: “Wyclef said he really feels our energy, he really feels our vibe. He said ‘Uncle Wyclef is always here to work on future projects’, he just seems to get it, get us.
I’m so excited he is back, and he seems excited about us, so it just works.”

The boys have also spoken out about the falling ratings of the singing show.
Ashley continued: “It’s just how technology has developed, and it’s about keeping up with the times, now you have things like ITV Player where you don’t have to sit down on a Saturday night and watch it, you can come in on a Sunday morning and watch it then.
“I don’t think the ratings are a reflection of the show, it’s just that less and less young people are sat in on a Saturday night watching the TV.”
Mustafa Rahimtulla chimed in: “That’s why you see the hits X Factor gets. It would be interesting to see the proportion of how many views it is getting online since the viewers have dropped.”
