What is your idea of a perfect date? Some roses, dinner… How about no clothes?
Channel 4 are launching a brand new dating show, with a difference and Britain’s most tattooed man is taking part!
The King of Ink is hoping to find love in the new risqué TV dating show where contestants start naked then gradually put clothes on.
To give him his full name, King of Ink Land King Body Art The Extreme Ink-ite, will strip in a search to find his perfect partner on Channel 4’s new show Science of Attraction , made by the producers of hit show Gogglebox.
Tattooed King – formerly Matthew Whelan – from Stechford, said: “This will not be like any dating show in the history of dating shows.
“In round one eight men or women will start naked in a see-through box.
“There will be a psychologist describing what people look like to the contestant, who will be hoping to bag themselves a date.
“Round two sees the contestants who have made it through put their clothes on, and then dress sense is described to the contestant searching for a date.
“In the third and final round the contestants speak about themselves and give the contestant an opportunity to find out what their personalities are like.
“It’s like Blind Date but with a serious twist. It is all about the science of attraction. I am really looking forward to stripping for the show.
“The audition was lots of fun and I have been told I have made the show and am really looking forward to filming next year.”
The 36-year-old has spent more than £30,000 on tattoos and has undergone body modification procedures.
The tattoo fanatic has had a nipple removed and a silicone 3D skull planted inside his chest.
He recently visited the Ukraine to appear on a TV show called Ukraine Speaks after becoming a hit in the country on a visit last year, and offered support to a teenager who had suffered bullying due to his body modification work.
Shooting of the show is set to start in February, with broadcast later in 2016.
