America’s Got Talent finalist Vicki Barbolak is heading across the pond to compete on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, it has been confirmed.
The American comedian finished in the top ten in Season 13 of America’s Got Talent and returned to compete on AGT Champions earlier this year. She made audiences laugh in the states with her “trailer nasty” humour and hopes to do the same in the U.K.
Barbolak confirmed the news in a tweet, saying she’s excited to do her stand up in the UK.
“So excited and grateful to be jumping across the pond to compete in BGT Champions,” she wrote. “It’s my dream come true to do stand up in the UK.”
Susan Boyle is the only other BGT act confirmed for the show. Other names include Boogie Storm, Stavros Flatley, Collabro, and Ashleigh and Sully.
Taping begins for the spin-off show next month at Wembley Arena and will be hosted by Ant and Dec. Judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden are all expected to return to the panel.
