America’s Got Talent auditions continued on Tuesday with the fifth week of auditions, featuring dancers, singers, and one truly quick-changing Golden Buzzer act.
In case you missed it, here’s a recap of the best and worst acts from week five of auditions.
The country hip-hop group took to the stage and really showed America what unity was all about. The band performed their own original bluegrass song with a hip-hop twist, really surprising the judges in the process.
I liked this group. They were fun and very entertaining. I could see them getting into the live shows at this stage.
I’ve seen several quick-change magicians over the years on AGT but Lea might be the best ever. What made her act so special is she changed her outfits without being protected or hidden by a cloth. That made the act even better.
Judge Heidi Klum was so impressed, she slammed her Golden Buzzer, sending Lea straight into the live shows.
The 20-year-old works as a party princess and has the dream to make it on Broadway. She sang a flawless performance of “Into The Unknown” and blew the house away. She has one of the better female voices in this competition.
Delicious Duane Douglas
There was nothing “delicious” about this performance as he just came on to insult the judges and that was a big waste of time.
America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC in the US and steams on Netflix in the UK.
