It was the earliest start for a Big Brother series in show history and the end result was the lowest rated final ever.
An average of 1.2 million viewers tuned into the Big Brother 2015 final that saw Chloe Wilburn take the top prize, making it the lowest rated final ever.
The figure is down 600,000 viewers on this year’s launch and overall this year’s series has seen just over 1.1 million viewers. That figure makes Big Brother 2015 the lowest rated series in show history.
The ratings fluctuated all series, going as low as 600,000 in week two. However, the controversial Four In, Four Out twist brought the ratings back up. One other twist that saw Big Brother legends Helen Wood, Brian Belo, Nikki Grahame and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace enter the house boost figures to 1.4 million viewers.
Last year 1.5 million watched Helen Wood win Big Brother in a shocking upset and prior to that Sam Evans took the crown in 2013 as 1.7 million tuned in.
