Big Brother Australia continued on Sunday night with Big Brother introducing his shiny Big Red Button and it led to an almighty eviction result.
The housemates were introduced to BB’s Big Red Button and the housemates were racing to press the button, which would give them something resulting in a prize or punishment. Tilly is the first to press the button, giving her an ice cream truck for her and three housemates of her choice. Jess presses it next and awards the house 15 minutes of playtime with some puppies.
The nominations challenge is next and it has quite a similar setup to the others we’ve seen. It’s all about upper body strength, so it’s no surprise when Tilly wins her second consecutive challenge and third in the last four. She heads to the Diary Room and nominates Sid, SJ, and Mitchell.
Host Sonia Kruger returned for the eviction and got the process started. Tilly lies about all three nominees being a safe vote but SJ is having none of it.
“I’m a jewellery dealer I know when people say ‘I like it but I’ll have to ask my husband’ it means they don’t have the balls to say they can’t afford it,” she says to the group.
With that, it is time to get the voting started. Sonia later reveals Mitchell has been evicted on a 9-4-0 vote. This means Daniel’s so-called “army” is down to just four: Daniel, Melissa, Tilly, and Nick.
“I don’t know what happened while I was up in that cage,” Mitchell said after his eviction. “Danny, Nick and Mel are goners if they don’t win challenges. I think the date last night was the highlight for sure. I actually did really like Christina.”
Big Brother Australia continues on Monday night at 7:30 PM on Seven.
