Big Brother Australia continued on Tuesday night and a surprise eviction twist saw two housemates be shown the door…or so they thought.
The main bulk of this episode revolved around Danny and SJ as they squabbled over a Tim Tam. Yes, you read that correctly. Daniel turned into a full sized man-toddler after the elder housemate got after him for wanting to do a “Tim Tam slam”.
This all was due to a 24 hour shopping task Big Brother set the housemates that is very similar to last year’s where the housemates had to stop a series of alarms from going off, so they must deactivate them by sprinting towards them in time. After the challenge, SJ took control of the shopping and ordered 600 onions and moisturiser.
Anyway, the nomination challenge saw housemates paired up and forced to hang by a rope, a true test of their mental and physical strength. Man-toddler Danny and his partner Christina are the winners and of course, Daniel has to get his way. So they nominate SJ, Mary, and Sid for eviction.

This led to SJ revealing to pretty much the entire house that she made a deal to go with Daniel to the final 10.
At the eviction, host Sonia Kruger gets the proceeding started. SJ and Daniel continued their beef over Tim Tams and I’m pretty sure Sonia was just as confused as the rest of us. As the house votes, SJ is evicted…or so she thinks.
Big Brother stops SJ and tells her this is no real eviction. In fact, it’s surprise week and down comes the ladder. SJ is now a resident of BB’s secret attic. But then Big Brother stops the housemates in the eviction room and tells them it is a double eviction.
Sonia returns and tells the houseguests either Mary or Sid will go out the door next. Daniel gets his way yet again and Mary is evicted on a 6-5 vote with Danny and Christina breaking the tie.
Mary joins SJ in the attic and all is well.
Big Brother continues Wednesday at 7:30 on Channel 7 in Australia.
