Big Brother Australia continued on Monday night as Daniel found himself desperate and as a result made a deal with Katie’s side of the house that came back to bite him.
Big Red Button week continued with more surprises including Marley getting KFC and the entire house receiving letters from home. Daniel got the punishment with “the floor is lava” and could not touch the ground until Big Brother told him so. However, he did and the entire house was punished by jumping into the pool on a cold Sydney morning.
With their backs against the wall, it was time for Daniel to make a deal with the devil. Daniel, Mel, and Nick approached Katie, Jess, and Marley with a deal to keep their sides safe. What Danny did not know was the girls were secretly plotting to blindside his group.
Speaking of Daniel, a temperature of 38.5 sent him into isolation in the attic, which meant he would not be competing in the nominations challenge, could be nominated, or have a vote in the eviction.
The nomination challenge saw the housemates having to balance on a platform that got smaller with each transition. In the end, it came down to Katie and Tilly but this time, Katie did just enough to hold on for her first nomination challenge win.

When it came time to nominate, Katie was nervous but finally took a shot at Danny’s alliance. She put up Nick, Melissa, and Ari from her side as a safe vote. When Big Brother announced the results to the group, Nick and Mel were not pleased.
Host Sonia Kruger got the eviction started and Nick revealed to the whole house that he cannot trust Katie since she went back on her word. This seemed to amuse Sonia, who told Nick: “You really thought you’d be safe?”
When it came time to vote, Nick was sent packing on a 9-1-1 vote. Something tells me Daniel will not be pleased when he returns to the house.
“Katie played me well, you have to take your hat off to her,” Nick said as he left the house. “Maybe I was seen as a threat because I didn’t bow down to their alliance whereas Mel was pretty keen to do that. Danny will see what happened and try and throw hand grenades. I hope one comes off. If he could take Katie down it would be pretty sweet.”
Big Brother continues on Tuesday night at 7:30 on Channel Seven.
