Big Brother concluded his week of surprises on Wednesday’s episode of Big Brother Australia with two big blindsides, including the return of SJ and Mary to the Big Brother house.
The main bulk of the episode surrounds SJ and Mary in Big Brother’s attic. The two are understandably surprised to still be in the game and BB tells the women, they can listen in their former-but-still-current housemates chatting.
The women overhear Daniel, Nick, and Melissa talking tactics and promising each other to stick together until the end. Big Brother tells Mary and SJ they can talk to two housemates, so they decide to speak to Katie and Sid, telling them both everything they overheard.
This causes Katie to join forces with the floaters. At the nominations challenge, the housemates must lay down while holding on to a bar to prevent a balloon from popping. After two hours and 40 minutes, it came down to Tilly and Katie but Tilly picked up her second win in the last three challenges.

Once in the Diary Room, Tilly nominates Jess, Charlotte, and coffee lover Carlos. Daniel clearly wants Jess gone because she is in Katie’s alliance but Sid is sick of Daniel running the house and comes up with a plan to save Jess and blindside him.
Host Sonia Kruger returns to get the eviction started. Sid’s plan to boot Carlos is successful and chalk it up as a win for Katie’s team.
“I was thinking I was safe with Danny but you are never safe in that house,” said Carlos. “Anything can happen any time. Big Brother is crazy.”
However, Big Brother isn’t done yet. He has one more surprise in store for the housemates and it’s in form of a giant cake.
No strippers here! Mary and SJ pop out of the cake and it’s safe to say Daniel, Mel, and Nick are not happy about it. In fact, Daniel is drinking milk out of a wine glass. It’s a sight.
Big Brother continues Sunday night at 7:00 on Channel Seven.
