Second Chance Week concluded on Wednesday night’s Big Brother Australia and by the end of the night, the biggest player of the season was sent home.
With just five housemates remaining, the pressure to get to the final four was on. Big Brother announced there would be two nominations challenges with the winner nominating one housemate. Daniel was feeling the pressure and said Christina winning would be the worst-case scenario.
For the first challenge, the housemates had to hang on to a spinning pole for as long as they could. In the end, Christina outlasted the other five and won her second straight challenge. She would nominate SJ for eviction, meaning she cannot play in the final challenge.
In the second challenge, the housemates had to balance cylinders on a pole and stack eight on a suspended tower on top of each other. It would come down to Ari and Marley but Ari would win and secure his spot in the top four.
Ari nominated Danny for eviction, joining SJ on the block for eviction. At this point, the two oldest housemates rallied for votes. With Ari wanting Daniel out, the pressure was on Christina to decide who to send home.
At the eviction ceremony, host Sonia Kruger returns to get the proceedings started. After all the housemates voted, Sonia revealed Daniel had been evicted on a 2-1 vote.
“I got played by a 22 and 21-year-old,” Danny said after his eviction. “I got blindsided.”
With just four housemates remaining, who will make it to the LIVE grand final? Find out when Big Brother Australia continues Monday at 7:30 PM on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
