Big Brother Australia concluded its Walking Dead twist on Wednesday night with the final housemate joining Mitch and Christina as the housemates then decided who to send home for good.
Daniel left Jess’s alliance, knowing he will need to work with the others to get her out if he has any chance of making it to the end. So he vowed to put her up if he ever wins a challenge but that continues to look less likely.
In a truly tough endurance challenge, it came down to who wanted it more as the housemates were hanging off the side of a wall. SJ gave a truly amazing effort but it was Tilly who came out on top and earned her fifth challenge win of the season, making Big Brother history in the process.
Tilly nominated Brenton to join Christina and Mitch up for eviction, knowing the house showmance would never vote for each other in the end.
Host Sonia Kruger returned for the eviction and got the process started. Jess tried to put up a good fight to save Mitch but it would not be enough as he was evicted from the house.
“I knew coming in I was going to be a physical threat and as soon as everyone had that chance to get rid of me this was coming,” Mitch said after his eviction. “I stuck to my own close-knit group of friends but they weren’t exactly as tight as I thought. I would love to see Jess and Marls get up but I feel they won’t have the numbers moving ahead. If I had to bet on who’s going to win I’d say, Tilly. She plays the ditzy blonde really well but she’s quite intelligent.”
Big Brother Australia continues next Monday on Channel 7 and 7 Plus as Big Brother unleashes Hell Week on the housemates.
