Honey G is now Betway’s fourth favourite at 14/1 to win The X Factor with punters piling in on the rap sensation going all the way.
The wrapper from Harrow is now rising up the bookies predictions to win the singing show.
The leading online bookmaker is reporting a swarm of support for the 35-year-old, which has seen her odds collapse from 66/1 to 14/1 since the start of the Live Shows.
Honey G, known offstage as Anna Gilford, has a better chance of winning the competition than Samantha Lavery (20/1), Saara Alto (20/1, Four Of Diamonds (50/1) and Ryan Lawrie (100/1), according to the bookmaker.
The odds also indicate she is more likely to lose out in the final at 9/4, than be eliminated in Week 5 (14/1), 6 (7/1), 7 (9/2), 8 (7/2) or in the semi-final (100/30).
Betway’s Alan Alger, said: “Love her or hate her, Honey G has sent The X Factor into a spin and is attracting plenty of attention in the betting.
“In reality, there is no way that she should be winning a singing competition, but punters have backed her heavily in recent weeks and her odds have shortened from a mammoth 66/1 to 14/1.
“Honey G is 14/1 to get the boot next weekend and 9/4 to not lose out until the final – that shows you how far punters think she’ll go!”
The X Factor continues weekends on ITV at 8pm.
