Caitlyn Jenner is trading in the hills of Hollywood for the Australian jungle.
The Sun is reporting the 70-year-old reality star is flying out to Australia next week to begin pre-show filming. Getting the star won’t be cheap as she is getting the biggest fees in its 19-year history, a whopping £500,000.
“She’s such a huge name and a great get for producers,” a source told the tabloid. “ITV thinks she is one of their best-ever signings. It’s a real bolt from the blue. They’ve asked her every year for a long time, but she finally felt the time was right.”
Caitlyn is best known for her role in Keeping Up with the Kardashians with Kris Jenner, their daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner as well as Kris’ children Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob Kardashian. She came out as a transwoman in 2015 and announced her new name just weeks later.
The former olympian is the biggest transgender star in the world and was married to Kris Jenner. Show bosses are hoping she will spill some secrets about the Kardashian family as well as her transition.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launches November 17 on ITV.
