It’s been reported that celebrities are battling for a spot on the new revamped version of Dancing On Ice.
ITV have announced that the skating show will be back on our screens in 2018, with hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby back.
The show will feature new skating professionals, a new set, and more ambitious routines than ever before.
Whilst no celebrity names have been confirmed, The Sun is reporting that Hollyoaks stars Stephanie Waring, Sarah Jayne Dunn and Anna Passey have all been pitching themselves for a role on the line up.
“Dancing on Ice bosses have reached out to nearly 50 celebrities in total about taking part in the new series,” a source said.
“There’s a big pool of talent, but only those who can prove they have the ability to actually tackle some of the harder moves and the training will make it in.
“They really want a glamorous soap star in the show, and three of the Hollyoaks girls are in with a shout but only one of them is going to make it.”
Other names rumoured to take part in the new series of Dancing On Ice include Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton, rugby player Max Evans and celebrity psychic Sally Morgan.
Dancing On Ice will return to ITV in the new year.
