This Morning host Eamonn Holmes has entered the betting to appear on this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here at odds of 5/2 with Betway.
The star has previously been rumoured to take part in the Australian show, but has never actually made the line up.
The 57-year-old broadcast journalist is no stranger to reality TV, having taken part in a number of tasks as part of Celebrity Big Brother and the odds suggest ITV are likely to snap him up for an appearance in the jungle.
Only Honey G has shorter odds of being confirmed to compete for the I’m A Celeb crown at 9/4, while Love Island’s Scott Thomas joins Holmes at 5/2.
Danny Dyer is another TV star to join the leading online bookmaker’s betting at 10/1 to take part, the same price as Nigel Farage and Phil Taylor.
At the bigger prices, retiring Chelsea and ex-England football captain John Terry has entered the betting at 33/1 and crocked Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a 500/1-shot.
Betway’s Alan Alger, said: “Our most recent update to the betting for potential I’m A Celeb participants has thrown up Eamonn Holmes as a really hot fancy at 5/2.
He’s proved a hit again since deputising for Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain and the odds suggest he could be close to penning a deal with ITV to go Down Under.
“Of the newest additions to the betting, Danny Dyer and James Arthur are quietly fancied at 10/1and 14/1 respectively.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns this autumn to ITV.
