EastEnders actor Shaheen Jafargholi has filmed his final scenes and that means one thing… a change of hair style!
The former Britain’s Got Talent star who sang at Michael Jackson’s funeral has filmed his final scenes on the BBC One soap.
And, he’s debuted a brand new hairstyle dying his cropped hair a luminous yellow blonde.
It’s not his first look either after chopping off his man bun last year.
But it wasn’t that easy to just have a haircut, with the BBC Producers having to work closely to ensure it made sense on screen.
“You have to wait until you have a gap in filming for continuity – in the end, the process took about two months, and I had to ask about five different people for permission,” he explained.
“But it was worth it – I’m a bit lazy when it comes to hair, so I’m happy it’s gone.”
It was revealed last month that Shaheen’s character Shakil would be killed off as a victim of a knife crime in a hard-hitting new storyline for the soap.
EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One at 8pm.
