As it was previously reported, former X Factor judge Gary Barlow is set to rival Simon Cowell with a new BBC One talent show.
Gary will, in some ways, take the place of Andrew Lloyd Webber to find a new musical talent similar to ‘How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria’ and ‘Over The Rainbow’.
The Sun on Sunday newspaper reports that Gary will be a judge on the show, and so could some of his fellow Take That members.
The show is tipped to replace The Voice UK next year when it moves over to ITV.
A source said: “Gary always wanted to put on a Take That musical and the band have written enough tracks for a score.
“Using a Saturday night TV show to find talent will give the musical huge publicity.”
The publication adds that Gary is supposedly in talks with stars of “Hollywood stature” to sit alongside him on the judges’ desk.
The BBC has yet to officially announce a commission of Gary’s planned show and said in a statement: “This is one of a number of ideas being considered for Saturday nights.”
The Voice UK continues Saturday’s on BBC One.
