ITV 2’s hit reality TV show Love Island may be casting it’s first transgender cast member for the upcoming Summer series.
Love Island is close to airing it’s third series as and the show prepares for its Summer launch.
The show’s voice-over man Iain Stirling this week teased some details about what to expect:
Asked weather the show could see a transgender contestant, he revealed:
“Why not? Last year we had a bisexual romance.”
Ian spoke about a meeting he had with the shows producers: “There were three tattooed bodybuilders with Essex haircuts and I thought: ‘They’re not here for an admin job.’”
Plus-sized model Melicia Chivers could be set to star on the show:
“She does pole dancing, too, for strength and fitness. The show has always been about slim girls in bikinis, but they want a more diverse group this year,” a source told the magazine.
Danny Latimer who has appeared on numerous reality shows including Desperate Scousewives and Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands could be heading to Love Island:
“Danny’s really romantic. He’s genuine and would like to find love on the show,” the source said.
Love Island returns this Summer on ITV 2.
