After three weeks of lies, drama, and cat fishing; Natalya Platonova became the winner of The Circle on Friday night beating out Manrika in the final vote.
Catfishing as paratrooper Felix, Natalya takes home the £100,000 prize. When The Circle revealed her as the winner, Natalya began to cry as Manrika hugged her to congratulate her.
The Military policewoman joined the hit Channel 4 show on day five and played as Felix, a male paratrooper. She quickly got into a “Circle relationship” with Manrika, making things official as The Circle’s boyfriend and girlfriend.
Speaking to Radio Times after her win, Natalya admitted she felt guilty about the whole thing. Especially after that final dinner when she met the very real 24-year-old Manrika for the first time.
“You’ve never seen a more nervous woman. I think there was just verbal diarrhoea coming out. I don’t know what I said. I was so scared,” she said.
The Circle airs on Channel 4.
