Rylan Clark-Neal has QUIT social networking site Twitter after fans of The Chase refused to stop berating him about the show coming off air.
Just as normal, The Chase is taking a summer break, and is replaced with another ITV gameshow format. This year, it’s Rylan’s new show Babushka.
However, after some badly worded articles fans quickly began Tweeting Rylan abuse saying he was the cause of the show coming off air.
Rylan responded to trolls on Twitter with the GIF of him crying on The X Factor with the caption… “When The Chase always has a break EVERY SINGLE YEAR but people still be like…..”
However, fans of The Chase are still tweeting him with Rylan making the decision to leave the site.
“Getting a bit ridiculous now. Just doing my job. Coming off here for a while,” he explained.
Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty tweeted hoping to resolve things, but the tweets keep on coming in…
@LoveShowbiz_ @MarkLabbett @jenlion @TheShaunWallace @BradleyWalsh @paulsinha @UpLateFans Rylan hasn't done ANYTHING to deserve this except front a new gameshow we haven't even see yet. Give him a chance.

Rylan had spoke about the abuse on This Morning, wearing an “I [love] The Chase” jumper.
“I am not cancelling The Chase, it has not been axed,” he explained to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. “Please stop hurling abuse at me, it’s not fair, OK?
“I’m just someone doing my job. Everyone this weekend is in uproar that Rylan has ‘axed The Chase’ to make way for my new show. That’s a lie – The Chase has a break every single year guys, calm down.”
