I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp will be looking for two new presenters after Joe Swash and Scarlett Moffatt both confirmed they will not be returning to the show.
Joe won I’m A Celebrity…. Get Me Out Of Here! back in 2008 and announced on his Instagram he would not be returning to the show, thanking both ITV and the show staff.
“I can’t believe I’m about to say this… For 10 incredible years I’ve been lucky enough to host my favourite show on telly,” he wrote. “Being a part of the I’m a Celebrity After Show has been everything I could have dreamed of and more. But I’ve come to the decision that this year I’m going to have to leave my jungle family and stay home with my wonderful real family.”
Additionally, Scarlett also confirmed her departure with an Instagram post of her own. She says she has a project that will keep her from presenting the show when it returns later this year.
“I have got a project that I’ve been working on (alongside my family) that I am very very excited to announce soon,” she said. “And because of this unfortunately I will not be presenting this years extra camp but I will certainly be tuning in LONG LIVE THE JUNGLE.”
ITV confirmed the news in a statement, wishing the pair well in the future.
“We’re sad to see Joe and Scarlett go and wish them both all the very best,” the broadcaster said. “They’ll always be part of the I’m A Celebrity family. They’ll always be part of the I’m a Celebrity family.
“We’ll confirm our I’m A Celebrity Extra Camp presenting line up for the new series nearer transmission.”
The new series will also see the return of duo Ant and Dec after Holly Willoughby replaced Ant McPartlin in the last series.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV later this year.
