WARNING: The following article contains spoilers from the sixth episode of season two of Scream. Do not read if you have not seen episode 6 or read on at your own risk. You have been warned.
We’ve reached the midway point of the season of MTV’s Scream. Last week, the killer officially returned with a bang, dropping Jake’s body at Brooke’s feet. Tuesday’s episode had some surprises and we’ve nearly knocked one suspect off our list.
After Noah found Audrey’s phone last week, he was determined to clear her name. So he went to meet up with ‘Eddie’ (the real Eddie is dead in a bathtub) at a carnival site. Noah goes alone (rookie mistake for someone who knows so much about horror movies).
Emma sneaks out to go meet up with Noah, but there is no cell phone service at the grounds. Noah attempts to go look for ‘Eddie’ alone, but realizes how creepy it is and heads back to his car. The killer is in the backseat and kidnaps him, poor Noah!
Noah wakes up to realize he is chained up to a sleigh and sees Audrey right behind him chained as well. Thinking he is going to die, Noah confesses he took Audrey’s phone and how he really felt about the kiss. We come to find out Audrey planned the entire kidnapping as a way to scare Noah as Audrey lets him loose thinking the real killer might be there. (I totally called it on Twitter)
Emma arrives and sees the killer and runs into Audrey and Noah. Kieran arrives and all head back to the car, escaping. Elsewhere in the episode, Brooke meets Branson in a hotel to get the truth about Jake’s murder.
Brooke asks Branson about his fake alibi of meeting Ms. Lang on the night of Jake’s murder. He told her Jake was going to pay him to leave Brooke alone but he had never showed up and that Jake had a deal going with Brooke’s father.
The show left us with another shocker. Audrey reveals her secret to Noah, she brought Piper to Lakewood!
“I brought Piper to Lakewood,” she said. “I was so alone and pissed at the world, and so I found her. I wrote her letters. I begged her to come to Lakewood and help me research for a documentary about Brandon James.”
“The thing about Brandon is, he may have looked different but he wasn’t a monster,” she explained. “He was like me. He was alone, rejected and angry.”
The episode ends with the killer finding Branson in the hotel room. He cuts off his hand and it with an iron. But he is not dead…yet.
Check one off the list…almost: The episode’s editing makes it almost certain Kieran can be crossed off the list as a suspect. When Emma, Noah, and Audrey are running to get away from the killer, Kieran pops up out of nowhere. Editing wants you to think its him, but we believe he actually was looking out for Emma.
Also, at the same time the killer was torturing Branson, Kieran was talking to the Sheriff about Emma. So, he can’t be in two places at once.
Killer theory: Despite her not appearing in the episode, we still feel Haley is extremely shady. Last week, she revealed her obsession with the Lakewood
six five. How convenient is it that four of the six were on the grounds running from the killer? Hmm…also, where was Eli? Is he helping Haley?

Scream returns next Tuesday at 10/9c on MTV.
