In a general chat on Twitter, show creator Seth MacFarlane was asked whether the cartoon will get a big screen version.
MacFarlane, the producer, voice over artist and director teasing that the Griffins could be heading to cinemas “soon”.

In 2011, Lois Griffin voice actress Alex Borstein spilled to Digital Spy hat the prospect of one “would be amazing”.
“I would love the opportunity to have a longer time to [tell a story],” she said.
“Having an hour-long format, and a longer time to tell a bigger, more intricate story, I think would be a really cool opportunity for Family Guy.”
Family Guy airs on BBC Two and Three in the UK and Fox in the US, with the show moving to ITV 2 in 2016.
