The BBC are said to be in turmoil after struggling to sign any a-listers up for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing
The show will return in just a few weeks, with the line up being slowly revealed.
However, producers are struggling to land a top level line up with celebs turning down the show over fears of the infamous ‘Strictly curse’.
The curse has seen more than 10 couples break up, and often end up with their dance partners.
Just last year runner up Louise Redknapp has now reportedly split from husband of 19 years, Jamie.
Rachel Riley also split from her husband and started dating dance partner, Pasha Kovalev in 2013.
‘The curse is real and it contributed to the breakdown of one of the strongest couples in showbiz,’ a source told The Sun. ‘No one wants to end up in the same boat.’
Mollie King, Davood Ghadami, Ruth Langsford, Gemma Atkinson, Reverend Richard Coles, Joe McFadden, Simon Rimmer, Aston Merrygold and Susan Calman have all been confirmed to join the line up this year.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One in the Autumn.
