The Masked Dancer continued on ITV Sunday night with six new masked dancers taking the stage to try and impress the judges to earn a spot in the next round of the competition. However, one celeb would be unmasked and shock everyone in the process.
Sunday night saw Squirrel vs Carwash, Flamingo vs Rubber Chicken, and Frog vs Beagle battle each other for a place in the next round.
Here is a recap of all the performances and the unmasking:
The Squirrel danced to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and did their best to stump the judges in the process.
Next to dance was Carwash, who performed to Christina Aguilera & Missy Elliot’s Car Wash. A very fitting song choice considering the costume.
The Flamingo was next up on stage and performed to Lady Marmalade by Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya & Pink. Would it be enough to advance?
The fan favourite was up next and danced to The Swinging Blue Jeans Hippy Hippy Shake.
The Frog was up next and danced to DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince’s Boom! Shake The Room. They had the judges a little surprised by the moves.
In probably the cutest costume of the series, the furry pup danced to will.i.am’s Bang Bang. But did he do enough to earn a spot in the next round?
After all the celebrities had performed, host Joel Dommett returned with the results. He revealed Flamingo had gotten the fewest votes and was eliminated from the competition. When unmasked, Flamingo was revealed to be Louise Redknapp.
“After being in lockdown for so long, it felt like such a nice change to get out and not only dance, which is something I love, but keep fit and just thoroughly enjoy doing something fun,” she said after being eliminated.
The Masked Dancer continues nightly on ITV.
